How to get from place to place?

Since time is something that you do not usually have very much of when you travel, it is important to use it well. A good choice of transportation can largely contribute to this.
You may decide to use public transportation and taxis, but the first is usually crowded and often confusing, the latter may end up to be too expensive, especially in traffic jams that have unfortunately become an everyday phenomenon in most large cities, Budapest included.
Hiring your own car and driver (or in smaller group`s case, a minibus) often turns out to be  financially much more worthwhile and a great deal more comfortable.

Danube River Cruising

Cities that have some kind of water nearby have always had a remarkable charm in people`s eyes. Whether the given city is built beside the sea, surrounded by lakes, or, like in Budapest`s case, has a river flowing right across it, water holds a never endig fascination that shows its best features when viewed from a boat. Budapest lives up to its nickname "Pearl of the Danube" even when observed from the riverbanks but shifts into an entirely different perspective when you board one of the cruiseboats that are available for sightseeing tours. Naturally, the boats vary a great deal in comfort, quality and service so it is wise to look before you leap, so to say.
